Chicago Teacher's Project: A Laboratory for Jewish Early Childhood Education Chicago Teacher's Project: A Laboratory for Jewish Early Childhood Education

Chicago Teacher's Project

Seeking open hearted and deep thinking individuals to join an innovative teaching fellowship. Fellows in this two-year program will assume full-time co-teaching positions in Chicago’s premier Jewish early childhood centers. Outside the classroom, Teaching Fellows will grow together as a cohort, studying cutting-edge practices in early childhood education and exploring Jewish life with a dynamic team of professors and mentors.

I had never considered working with children as a career; when I got the chance [to work in a progressive Jewish early childhood center], I was blown away by the intellectual challenge and creativity before me. With my new perspective as a teacher, I was amazed by the children’s sense of curiosity and I rediscovered my own.
