CFJE is a leader in developing engaging, exciting, meaningful programs that foster stronger commitments to Jewish life. Studies have shown that alumni of our Ta'am Yisrael 8th grade Israel Experience, for example, are more likely to participate in organized Jewish life upon their return when compared to students who did not attend the program. WE REACH 25,000 PEOPLE EVERY YEAR. As the largest umbrella organization for Jewish education in the Chicago area, we work with synagogues, early childhood programs, religious school principals, and Jewish day schools, along with our own adult education programs, teen programs, and other valuable, wide-reaching services. Your dollars will stretch far in terms of impacting Jewish education in this community. WE RAISE COMMUNITY STANDARDS. Our early childhood department, for example, established an accreditation process which enables Jewish early childhood programs in the community to measure themselves and implement widely accepted best practices. WE FOSTER COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE. We bring together religious school principals regularly for shared learning and discussions about common practices. We bring together heads of local youth organizations to explore opportunities for joint events and collaboration. WE USE TECHNOLOGY TO REDUCE COST AND INCREASE EFFICIENCY. We use online registration forms to eliminate data entry time and maximize our staff's ability to focus on programs and the people we serve.
