The Chicago History Museum presents Shalom Chicago, an exhibition that explores Chicago's diverse Jewish community from the 1840's to today. Using multimedia displays and over 300 artifacts, the exhibition examines how a small but dynamic community helped shape modern Chicago.
Shalom Chicago follows Catholic Chicago in a series of exhibitions focusing on the religious communities that have contributed to the city's evolution as a major urban center.
Shalom Chicago is presented in collaboration with Spertus: A Center for Jewish Learning & Culture.
